Press Conference on Air Passenger Rights

On 15 July 2026, ECC Luxembourg participated in the annual press conference on air passenger rights organised by the Directorate for Consumer Protection (DPC), which acts as the National Enforcement Body (NEB) responsible for ensuring compliance with passenger rights. On this occasion, the DPC presented an overview of its activities.

Alongside the DPC and the Union Luxembourgeoise des Consommateurs (ULC), ECC Luxembourg provided an update on the evolution of complaints relating to baggage. The presentation also served as an opportunity to remind travellers of the essential advice to follow in the event of lost, delayed or damaged baggage.

Once again, the conference highlighted the importance of close cooperation between the relevant organisations to better inform travellers and contribute to the effective enforcement of their rights.
