
THE EUROPEAN CONSUMER CENTRE LUXEMBOURG AND THE ECC NETWORK
The European Consumer Centre Luxembourg (ECC Luxembourg) GIE is part of a network of 29 ECCs in the European Union plus Iceland and Norway (ECC-Net).
The ECCLuxembourg was created in 1991 under the name "Euroguichet" and celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2011. Since 2003, the ECC operates as the "Economic Interest Group (GIE).
The ECC Luxembourg is financially supported by the European Commission, the Luxembourg government (Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade) and the Luxembourg Union of Consumers (ULC).
ECCs fulfill primarily the following tasks:
In addition, since 1 January 2010, the ECC Luxembourg has been appointed as the contact point for consumers interested in receiving information about services they want to use in another EU country.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9 am - 4 pm, Wednesday 9 am - 1 pm
Every Wednesday afternoon the ECC is present at the Maison de l’Europe (European House, 7, rue du Marché aux Herbes) from 1.30 pm to 5.00 pm.
